RULES & GUIDELINES

Fair competition is the foundation of EWLI. All players must adhere to these rules to ensure a positive experience for everyone. Violations result in penalties up to permanent bans.

Fair Play Policy

No use of exploits, glitches, or cheats of any kind
All players must use their registered gamertags
Account sharing or boosting is strictly prohibited
Respect all opponents - toxicity results in bans
Report suspicious activity immediately

Match Scheduling

Both teams must be ready within 15 minutes of scheduled time
No-shows after 15 minutes result in automatic forfeit
Reschedules must be agreed upon by both teams
Emergency cancellations must be reported within 1 hour
Time zone disputes default to server time

Match Rules

All matches must be played on official servers
Screenshots/recordings required for result disputes
Host must be the higher-seeded team (or home team)
Lag-outs require match restart if within first 2 minutes
Map/mode selections follow ladder-specific rules

Wagers & Payouts

Wagers are locked once both teams accept
Winners receive payout within 24 hours
Platform fees are deducted before payout
Disputed matches freeze funds until resolution
Refunds only for verified technical issues

Violations & Penalties

First offense: Warning + match forfeit
Second offense: 7-day ladder suspension
Third offense: 30-day platform ban
Severe violations: Permanent ban + forfeiture
Appeals must be submitted within 48 hours

Team Requirements

All team members must have verified accounts
Roster changes locked during active matches
Minimum 24-hour notice for roster changes
Substitute players must be pre-registered
Team captains responsible for all team conduct

By participating in EWLI ladder matches, you agree to abide by all rules and guidelines. The EWLI admin team reserves the right to make final decisions on all disputes. Rules may be updated periodically - check back regularly for changes.
